Our Story
Built one batch at a time, in a city that doesn't get a second chance.
Max Classes was founded by Ashish Dhamanodiya in Jammu after 15 years of teaching Chemistry across Kota, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh. The idea was simple — bring Kota-grade NEET and JEE preparation to students who couldn't or didn't want to leave home for it.
Over 15 years, that idea has produced hundreds of doctors and engineers from classrooms in Kacchi Chawni. Students from Jammu, Srinagar, Rajouri, Sunderbani, Doda, Kathua, Anantnag, Baramulla, Handwara, and across Ladakh — many the first in their family to pursue MBBS or B.Tech — built their careers here.
We are not a corporate franchise. The teacher who starts your child's batch in April is the same teacher in March. The director who interviews you on day one is the same director who calls you on results day. That continuity is not a marketing line; it is structural.
What we stand for
Six principles we don't bend.
1. Complete the syllabus. Always.
In 15 years we have never left a syllabus incomplete. Boards, NEET, JEE — whatever it takes, on time, every batch.
2. Concepts before pace.
Speed comes from understanding, not from skipping. We teach NCERT in depth — every line, every diagram — then build pace from that base.
3. Small batches. Named students.
Every student is known by name. Every parent is reachable by name. Class sizes are kept deliberately small so attention is real, not promised.
4. Founder-led, not corporate.
No faculty rotations mid-year. No franchise turnover. The same people are accountable for results from enrolment to admission letter.
5. Mental health is academic.
Annual class picnics after 70% syllabus, alumni-led motivation, and our screen-time monitoring plan exist because stressed students do not score better.
6. Honesty over inflation.
We publish actual photographs of our doctors. No anonymous "top rankers." If a student's face is on our wall, they really came from this classroom.
